Cheryl Hines

Cheryl Ruth Hines grew up in the vicinity of Tallahassee located in Florida. Her birthplace was in Miami Beach on September 21 1964, to Rosemary (Graham), and James Hines. She went to West Virginia University, Florida State University and then graduated from the University of Central Florida. She completed her studies in theater and television production, but it wasn't until she relocated in Los Angeles and studied at the Groundlings Theater that she felt she'd learned something about the art of comedy. Lisa Kudrow was her first instructor. The actress began learning to create improvised scenes, and later sketch comical sketches. The lessons learned helped get ready for the role as Larry David's spouse on HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm (2000). The dialogue of the comedy is created by improvising, and she is at ease.
