Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actress who was born on January 31, 1974. Her most well-known role is as Bo in the Showcase Television show Lost Girl. Silk was a native of Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk were both academics. Ilkay was also a writer, producer, and director. She is Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna's early memories were of going to rehearsals for plays as well as watching her mother do the perform. Silk played a role as a young model in a commercial. She received a Bachelor's of Arts at St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas was active in at least two productions in the theater's early days, such as Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk moved to Toronto for further development of her acting career in the month of November 1999. She then, over the decade that followed, she relocated in the following decade to Los Angeles California. When she converted to Judaism and they were married again in the Jewish ceremony on April 10, 2011, in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman gave birth to her first child Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron is her second child, and was born on 13th of May in 2016. Silk was also nominated in 2009 for the Gemini Awards in her role in the role of Cassidy Holland. The role was assigned to her as Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian show Lost Girl in 2009. Silk announced to her fans that she was expecting a baby in January 2013 during a Showcase Season Three Special. Silk, who has been working on Lost Girl since the season's third finale episode was first conceived on January 6 2013. She announced via Twitter that she would return to the show on June 4th, 2013 as Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production on the fourth. The CNN Cable News Network named her portrayal of Bo as well as Lauren (Zoie Parker) in Lost Girl as same-sex couples one of their all-time favorite TV Couples.
